Their vision is to offer families from across the world a welcoming European community atmosphere and a place to receive guidance from world leading ABMNM practitioners.
Johannes is the father of three children – his first child, Anna, has special needs and she is the inspiration behind the Center.
Johannes is a certified Anat Baniel practitioner graduating from class of 2014. He has completed all successive training levels offered through the Anat Baniel organization.
Training with Anat Baniel prepared Johannes for the events that he would encounter as a parent to a child with special needs – and through his work with his own daughter he felt inspired to expand his scope and bring ABM to Denmark in a formalized format. Today he runs a full practice with clients from Denmark and Scandinavia and with families visiting from all over Europe. He is experienced working with children from many backgrounds and perspectives.
In his work with children Johannes collects on the authenticity of his personal experience when seeking connection with a child in his practice.
He pays attention to the way things are as his framework for understanding the brain-body connection, including various aspects of consciousness, imagination, embodiment, memory, self-experience and temporality. Helping children expand their picture of self comprehension as well as to an experience that presents itself in a distinctive manner, are important aspects giving direction to his work
Johannes is continuously looking to further his education and find colleagues and teachers that he can learn from. He brings together a skillful and talented group of practitioners at his Center where discussions and best practices are shared. He serves as support staff during the training segments at the Anat Baniel Center and he will be supporting workshops internationally. He takes part as organizer as well as a student when he meets with his international mentoring group. At the Center Johannes enjoys bringing skill, talent and philosophical minds together for practical discussions and a collegial experience.
